I have a silverlight application in DNN that should be using the beta 2 version, it does when I create a separate project outside of DNN but when I create a new silverlight project within DNN it indicates that it wants the beta1 version installed on my machine.
Any ideas?

You have to uninstall your Silverlight 2 Beta 1 SDK and Silverlight Tools for VS 2008. Then install the Silverlight 2 Beta 2 Tools for VS 2008. Aslo uninstall and reinstall the Silverlight 2 Beta 1 web browser run-time and install the Silverlight 2 Beta 2 run-time.

I did that. Like I said I can create a separate application outside of DNN and it works fine. But when I create the app inside DNN silverlight is asking me to install the beta1 version of silverlight. It tells me that I need to uninstall beta2 and then install beta1.:O How wierd is that?

Ok, just figured this out. I used one of your tutorials and in that I had set the silverlight Version="2.0" on the view.ascx. Instead what needed to be set was MinimumVersion="2.0.30523"

The live example running on the site has Version="2.0" and as you can see it works. Do you still have Silverlight 2 Beta 1 run-time still installed on your machine?

No. I only used the part of the example that got the application to work with DNN. My application is a video player built for Silverlight 2 Beta 2. It seems that the media element at least shows up now but I still have issues trying to play videos either on the local site or from another website. I still have not figured that part out yet. I get the AG_Network Error. Any Ideas? Silverlight 2 Beta 1 has been uninstalled from my machine hence the reason that it kept asking for me to install it.

You also have to replace the silverlight assemblies in the bin folder in your dotnetnuke website with the new ones for Silverlight 2 Beta 2. There is one .dll and a bunch of folders with .resources assemblies. Look in the bin folder of a Silverlight project that works.

Can you get the following media player to work in DNN? I tried this as a test and could not get it to work properly.
