Hey Michael,
I can't seem to figure this out. I have installed
Expression Blend
VS 2008
Silverlight 1.1 Tools for VS 2008
Silverlight 2.0
Silverlight 2.0 SDK
The only tools I get in Expression Blend are the line, rectangle, brush transform canvas, and textblock. The only tools I get in VS 2008 is the Tab Strip, which doesn't work. What I am doing wrong?
thanks,
Richard

You do not want to install the Silverlight 1.1 tools, you want to uninstal that and install Microsoft Silverlight Tools Beta 1 for Visual Studio 2008 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=E0BAE58E-9C0B-4090-A1DB-F134D9F095FD&displaylang=en)

Thanks,
That worked once I got the previous version of the sdk off as well.
I am still a little puzzled about how to do development in general with Silverlight. Do you have to have both Blend and VS or can you do everything in VS?
Thanks again,
Richard

I have them both open at the same time. This tutorial shows how I switch back and forth:
