I am new to DNN and Silverlight. I have learned a whole lot about DNN and now curious about silverlight. My question is I see silverlight 1.0, silverlight 2.0, and silverlight 3.0 tabs. If I have silverlight 3.0 installed on my computer, is it backward compatible with silverlight projects that were made for an earlier silverlight version?

If you have Silverlight 3 (or Silverlight 4) you can run everything on this site. However, if you try to compile the code in Visual Studio or Blend, some code it may not work in a later version of Silverlight if there have been changes.

These are rare but they do exist. They may not exist in any code on this site but I want you to be aware of the possibility.

This is actually a very cool thing about Silverlight. Your code will "run" on any future version.
