Hi!

First of all, thanks for a brilliant tutorial!

As you know, DNN has some neat functionality for maintaining different language-files.

I would like to utilize this functionality to maintain the language files for my silverlight application as well, but I'm not sure how to achieve this or if it's at all possible...?

I guess the challenge here is that the resx-files resides on the web-server, and not the client - where the silverlight module lives...

Do you have any thoughts around, or experience with this?

One possible approach might be to expose the language files (on the webserver) as a web service, consume the service on the client and change the captions manually in the application - but I'm not sure if this is the best solution...

Any ideas??

Regards,
Jon

I'm sorry I have no experience with Silverlight Localization. I do know that it is possible so you may want to do a Google search.

I do recommend that you do Silverlight Localization the "Silverlight way" rather than trying to make it work with DotNetNuke localization.
