I am not a programmer so please excuse me for a possibly dumb questions. I would like to experiment with silverlight skinning but not quite sure where to start. So some questions:
1. is it possible to use/reference standard ASP.Net user controls (a.k.a skin objects) in a xaml file?
2. how can I add panes to the xaml

Thanks for your insight,

Peter

Here is an interesting blog posted by Corrina on the msdn website about skinning Silverlight Controls.

http://blogs.msdn.com/corrinab/archive/2008/03/11/silverlight-2-control-skins.aspx

There are also a couple of pages she has created that show off some of the controls.

Cheers
Graeme

Hi All,

I think the point here is: how do we deal between formatted HTML and Silverlight? At the moment we do not have available a control to easily display formatted HTML, so we will need a hybrid approach, I guess...

I faced this limitation while converting a module from classic ASP .NET to Silverlight: all functionality can be easily migrated to webservices and LINQ to SQL, but what about the Presentation Layer? Did anyone succeed in a satisfying migration?

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
